this will also change

the starving student syndrome never seemed to sit well with me. to me, suffering is a choice even when it comes to finances. Some people have more numbers to their name than others - it's just that simple. Today, I realised i was in debt for the first time in my life -- by $80. My disappointment felt so real, and i felt myself wanting to suffer. Like i couldn't do anything "fun" until the long road of schooling came to an end. My roomate wisely pointed out that being broke is pretty standard with us 20 somethings, and i have since started to become comfortable with this new yet temporary circumstance. after all, everything changes so i best start looking for that silver lining.
a very smart friend of mine once told me that student loans are like the 'future richer you' giving the 'present you' money! why not assume that education will lead to sucess in monetary terms? thanks Jasun :)
I'll start worrying when i have to buy the costco size mister noodles. *shudder*
